This was a project I helped work on at PUSH. The client was McWane Science Center located in downtown Birmingham. They wanted to add an interactive and kinetic piece to their plaza. We did a lot of thinking, modeling, and drawing and finally arrived at a design that complimented the building’s exterior by wrapping around the huge IMAX dome. The panels were interactive through sensors embedded in the light pavers on the plaza floor. I helped with presentation animations, renderings, and initial CAD modeling.
